Are you interested in birdwatching? This group is for anyone interested in learning more about bird identification while exploring our local nature reserves. We aim to visit local RSPB and Wildlife Trust sites as well as private reserves accessible by permit only.
You will be able to enjoy identifying and observing birds in the company of a small group, and hopefully by sharing our knowledge we will all improve our birdwatching skills!
Members will need to travel to bird reserves under their own steam, and some of the walking may require stout footwear. Because of limited parking facilities and the availability of hides at the reserves, the group will be limited to 8–10 people for some visits.
We aim to meet at a venue once a month, often on a Thursday morning, and expect to spend 2 to 4 hours birdwatching (depending on the size of the reserve). Trips further afield will be arranged if people are willing to travel.

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve, RSPB Middleton Lakes, WMBC Ladywalk Reserve, Dawn Chorus in Lavender Hall Park (a 5am start), Marsh Lane (Private) Nature Reserve, Upton Warren (near Bromsgrove), Brandon Marsh, Attenborough, Babbs Mill, Broomey Croft, Sandwell, Temple Balsall, Belvide.
