The group does various forms of crafts.
Some of the sessions are led by a member if they want to share their interest and sometimes members bring their own work to do.
There is space for new members for this group, please contact the co-ordinator for more details.
During the year we have learnt new knitting and crocheting techniques, wool felted to make a bowl, various forms of paper crafting and Christmas decorations.

Christmas Shoe Box
To the left is a photo of the "shoe boxes" we have put together for "Christmas ShoeBox Appeal". We filled 14 in total. Each box is crammed with items such as pencil cases and stationary/craft items, socks, gloves, beanie hats, small toys and games, wash bags, flannels, hair brushes, combs and hair accessories and all manner of goodies, age and sex appropriate to the label on the outside. Many of the items inside have been made over the past year by us. From us they go to a local church and then on to teams4u* where the many thousands that they receive each year are checked before being shipped to children in need.
We also have to send a donation with each shoe box to help with transportation costs etc.
Teams4U is a registered Charity based in Wrexham.

We have also knitted hats for the University hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire. Every new baby is given a hat.
