2026
Second April Ramble
The ramblers met at the Hatton Arms and led by Leslie and Carolyn de Chernatony enjoyed a 5 mile circular walk across fields, along farm tracks and returning along the tow path of the Grand Union canal alongside the Hatton Locks.


First April Ramble
Led by Matthew Stephens 14 members traversed paths around Warwick including the River Avon and The Grand Union Canal They were lucky enough to see two Herons, one on the Avon the other on the Canal. They ended up at the The Cape of Good Hope pub for a well earned lunch.





Second March Ramble
Wednesday 18th March saw 12 ramblers meet at Abbey Fields, Kenilworth. Lead by Geoff Kennedy they walked about 6 miles around the Kenilworth environs. This was the hottest day so far this year.





First March Ramble
On the 3rd March A mild dry day March 18 ramblers assembled at the Racehorse Pub in Warwick. Led by Mick O'Connor they enjoyed a 5.5 mile ramble. Walking to Warwick Castle and through to St Nicholas Park, along the bank of the River Avon. They then picked up The Grand Union canal and walked along the towpath back to the Saltisford Arm before returning to the pub across St Mary's Lands (Race Course).





February Shorter Walks 2026
20 members met at the Bull at Barston. Led by Matthew Stephens they walked to the West Midlands Golf club, around Barston Lake returning to the pub. The walk was 3.5 miles






Second February Walk 2026
8 hardy members of the Ramblers Group met at the Hatton Arms. On a cold but dry day, led by Robin Peacock They walked along the canal to Dark Lane past the entrance to Hatton World and then headed cross country. Using farm tracks and some very muddy fields.




First February Walk 2026
20 Members assembled at the Falcon Inn, Hatton, on a cold February Morning. The Weather Forecast was not goo, rain was expected for the duration of the walk, but apart from a few spots of rain we were lucky it stayed dry. The walk was led by Richard Glynn




New Years Day 2026 - Clear the Cobwebs Walk
30 members joined Richard Drake on the annual walkaround the rods and pathways of Balsall Common.







2025
December 1st Ramble
On 2nd December there was a good number of walkers arrived at the Bear Inn Berkswell. They enjoyed a 5.5 mile circular walk in the local countryside led by Jill and Mick O'Connor. The weather was good a bright sunny day, but muddy underfoot.





November 2nd Ramble
19th November only 7 ramblers braved the cold. They met at the Queen and Castle in Meriden and enjoyed a 6 mile walk in the local countryside. The route was created by Alan Buckland but as he was not able to attend Peter Calver led the way.






October 2025 Shorter Walk
Thursday 30th October 17 members met at the Saracens Head. Led by Martin Richards they walked from Balsall St through the new Country Park and across the fields to Fen End. The return route took them along Longbrook Lane to the pub a total of 3 miles
